Christian
This project is a complete brand redesign proposal for Pâtisserie Christian, a long-established artisan pastry house in Strasbourg. Following a change in ownership, the objective was to modernize the brand’s visual identity while preserving its heritage, craftsmanship, and creative spirit, through a cohesive system spanning identity, packaging, digital presence, and physical touchpoints.

The project is built on a thorough marketing and strategic analysis of the artisanal pastry market, identifying the need to reinforce brand visibility in a highly competitive environment while remaining accessible and non-luxury. The positioning chosen highlights a balance between tradition and modernity, emphasizing craftsmanship, creativity, and quality ingredients.
A new visual identity was designed around a modernized version of the brand’s historic symbol: the door knocker. Reinterpreted with rounded, geometric forms, it evokes both stained-glass heritage and pastry molds, symbolizing the link between history and innovation. A contemporary sans-serif typeface supports this balance by conveying quality while maintaining a warm, welcoming tone.
The color palette—orange, beige, and brown—was selected to stimulate appetite, express creativity, and convey authenticity and comfort. This identity is consistently applied across multiple media: takeaway packaging, storefront window design, social media content, website homepage, stamps, and branded goodies.
The digital strategy focuses on visual storytelling and community engagement, showcasing products, behind-the-scenes craftsmanship, and seasonal highlights through social platforms. Overall, the project delivers a coherent, scalable brand system designed to strengthen recognition, attract new audiences, and reaffirm Pâtisserie Christian’s role as a reference for artisanal pastry in Strasbourg.
