Dearbball

DearBBall is an immersive web and campaign concept built around the idea of incarnation. Users are invited to choose an iconic basketball player and enter a personalized digital universe where the site experience, visuals, and products adapt to the selected identity. More than a showcase, the project transforms browsing into an interactive, game-like experience that connects fashion, culture, and self-expression through basketball.

The project combines a brand website and a visibility campaign titled “Become the Game”, designed to strengthen emotional engagement and memorability. The user journey starts in a neutral interface acting as an introduction space, before shifting entirely once a player is selected. Each choice alters the site’s atmosphere, reinforcing a sense of exclusivity and personal projection.

Visually, the concept is based on a “analog futurism” aesthetic, mixing dark tones, grainy textures, and technical typography inspired by sportswear brands and playground culture. Monochrome player visuals enhanced with bold colored bands across the eyes turn athletes into graphic icons, emphasizing attitude and energy over identity.

Narratively, the player selection acts as a storytelling backbone. It structures navigation, gamifies the experience, and positions the user as an active participant rather than a spectator. Products become symbols of values—leadership, creativity, rigor, explosiveness—making clothing a statement of belonging rather than a simple commercial object.
